Salvador Castillo Blanca for sale

Greetings All,
up for sale is my Salvador Castillo Blanca. Family emergency came up and i need some cash. damn shame because i love this guitar

asking price is $2100.00 + $50.00 to ship it. I am open to offers, at this point first come first sold. This guitar is like new no flaws what so ever. drop me a pm if interested.

How long have you had it? Are there any scuffs, scratches, dings etc. Show some picks of it at your house and not at Salvador's workshop so it looks like you have the guitar in your possession. Besides there should be some closeups of the back and sides. What is the scale? What year is it? What are the woods it is made of?

no scuffs, dents, dings, scratches, nada. I took possession of it in January of this year. 655 scale 52 at the nut. cypress back and sides with a euro spruce top. She is a dream will post some pics in about 30 hour.

Bitch'n! What a beauty! Do you have any audio samples? What is the setup like? Standard flamenco or lower? Any buzzing at the setup? What kind of finish does it have?

standard flamenco slight buzzing on the basses when you push it. she is french polished. Just you to youtube and type in salvador castillo guitars. there are a bunch of videos ~

I need to sell her today so no reasonalble offer will be refused.

Too Bad you can't sit on it and see if you can get a little more. I ordered one a couple months ago with all french polish, conde orange, 650mm scale, spanish cypress, spruce top for 2550. It should be coming by next week. I can't wait for it to show up. I will have to post some audio just to show it off a little. Beau is the distributor who talks to Castillo and does all the transfers and negotiation.

I would recommend trying the instrument before buying. That goes with any guitar. I bought a Castillo a few years ago, euro spruce / spanish cypress and the sound wasn't too good. I had a luthier look at it and he did say that the workmanship was excellent. I have heard another Castillo blanca that sounded quite good. I was lucky to sell mine for a minor loss.

Another Foro member sold one last week for $1500.00 that was a few years old. Ebay post are going from $1500.00 - $1800

The other Foro member is a professional musician and has a lot of connections--he probably had more than one day to sell, too. USA sellers have to compete with people who buy SC's instruments for less in Mexico and bring them into the US market. Good thing you didn't pay $3,500 from any of the US distributors...

You really need more than one day to sell this to get a fair price.

Congrats to daffey and the buyer! I would have gone for it earlier if it had machine tuners. I find pegs hard to use.

I know; I should learn and get used to them.
