Flamenco Concert in Leeds 3rd April 

Hi all

Flamenco Del Norte - a group of artists presently based in Newcastle and an acoustic project of award winning group Electro-Flamenko will be playing at Seven Arts in Chapel Allerton in Leeds on Saturday 3rd April 2010.

Featuring:

Flamenco singer: Javi “El Caña” de La Isla, Cádiz (Spain)
Flamenco Dancer: Vanna ''La Mala" (Italy)
Flamenco Guitar: Paco Bethencourt LLobet "El Canario" (Spain)
Flamenco Percussion: Jeremy Bradfield (UK)
Álvaro Lopez León "El Cigalita" (Special Collaboration) Palmero & Coros

It might be worth reserving tickets if you haven't already via Seven Arts. I understand they're selling pretty quickly.

Very, very enjoyable evening and well worth a trip across the Pennines.

A shame that the dancer was injured but the lady from Sheffield, whose name totally escapes me, danced fantastically in the second half.

Good to see a full (hot!!) house.
