Maybe it's just me...but I kinda get the impression that Paco is a bit shy around attractive women!

I'd like to think I'm a reasonably confident kinda guy....but...

About 10 years ago when I was 50, this lady came into my workshop to get some work done on her video recorder.

She was about late 30's, tall, slim, blonde with styled (shortish) hair and immaculately dressed, wearing a really classy business type twin-set with small items of tasteful jewellery... and her face could have adorned a fashion magazine.

She spoke with a near perfect English RP accent.

Absolute epitome of elegance in high heels itself....

She was very relaxed and casual in her manner and body language and somehow, our conversation drifted onto local issues and then life in general.

She was in fact Swedish and had been brought up in the UK since she was 14 or so.
She worked as a University Lecturer and told me she was a bit apprehensive about moving to the North of England the next month to take up a new job and we started chatting.

Somehow the conversation drifted on to Flamenco and Flamenco guitar and she was really interested.

She totally ignored the usual social etiquette of leaving about at least a metre radius of "personal" area between each other...'cos when I rested my head on my hand with elbow on the bench to explain some deep philosophical idea or other...she pulled a chair over and did exactly the same...

Only with her face about 9 inches away from mine and looking straight into my eyes!

I caught the faint fragrance of her perfume and I noticed how pearly white her teeth were, her gorgeous smooth skin and her luscious slightly moist lips.

She said..."Really!...That's absolutely fascinating... tell me more!"

Thing is, she was genuinely interested and we talked for about half an hour about music, philosophy and life in general like that!

Well, I must admit guys, my heart rate DID go up a beat or two then!

and I was still buzzing for hours after she left..

In fact I was like a damned puppy dog!!

fantastic story Ron..... but don't tell me that such things happen to all 50 year old men with a workshop.

now something else, this is also a very philosophical issue (LOL), sorry for hijacking the thread, but this
is much more important than selling a Conde:

when i was 20 or something, my old man told me that as you get older, the more horny you become.

he was like 55 at that time and i just laughed and thought that must be one of his jokes.

in fact, till now (i am 35) i can totally agree with this statement, i am generally much more horny than i was
20. this is totally contrary to biological facts.

but i want to know from a wise man like you, if this is really going to continue like this till end of my life, cause,
if so, then it will be really dangerous for me and my enviroment.

so, now how about you ? are you forced to play guitar in traditional position the whole day or what ?

Sorry to disillusion you Arash.

Mid 20's to mid 30's is probably the peak of horniness.

Thing is, that any totally memorable and heartstopping moment I've ever had with a beautiful woman at any age I've ever been at myself has never had anything to do with 'genital' sex for that moment.

It's always been something else entirely. That moment is both beautiful and indescribable IMO.

The world stands still, the Universe stops.

Like trying to explain music in words...can't be done...but has a profound effect on you at the time...and for evermore.

If that sounds soppy, then maybe it is...but it's true!

Oh to be 26 again and back in in Brasil!

So dangerously true, Doits.
I also agree with your other warning, not to buy based on name and fame, but on actual testing the instrument.

In fairness one should be able to play a guitar for a couple of days before making an informed decision. A great guitar may feel otherwise simply because we need to adapt to it, just as a poor guitar may not reveal its weakness immediately.

We do not become Paco by owning and playing his guitar(s) but we may lose the Paco in us to poorly alligned strings or taxing set-ups.

Well after all of Doit's complaining about the ONE guitar he had that was too high action for his wimpy technique (only real men like Rafael can play those things), I will admit THIS guitar was easy as butter to play.... I got used to it too fast. Doit would love it.

I will also admit that this exact guitar got me LAID on several occasions, and probably would have many more times. This guitar is like a chick magnet. I can't tell you how many female dancers bent over to get a good look at the rosette while I was playing. I am sure it would do the same for some one else. It is worth it's weight in gold, although it is not that heavy either! Anyway, that is the main reason I need it back, cuz it was easy to play AND good luck. And I don't need a commission for saying that!

LOL. this is the best selling point i've ever heard about any guitar ever! we all need a turn with this guitar, mark, quit hogging it! arash, could this be a possible solution to your "situation"?

Man... look,... he has no abs and his legs are far behind his chest... He should train more and harder!!

Ricardo Im will only buy blancas in future... I only played one time a negra which sound I liked... and now I also changed my opinion about this one guitar and dont like it anymore... coz of bad settings.. Only blancas for me. But I would like to test this one.. As I wrote before..my next guitar wll be 99% sure a conde. I tested far more bad conde guitars than good ones...but the sound is a striking argument for me... I hope I´ll find one that fits on my wishes in future.

Nobody should worry about developing strong technique on a high action guitar because trust me, it is not about technique it is about FEELING!

Ive had a lot of enquiries...mainly people wanting a look though. I have a couple of serious players looking now. Everyone loves the guitar but everyone seems to have money problems right now. Price has been reduced to EUR 6750

well...money ain't my issue (although playing it well may be :-))...but I am interested. Let me check exchange rates, cause i think the eur and us are not too bad right now as far as exchange rate.
