Sals tabs update

Just noticed that Sal has updated his excellent collection of freebie flamenco tabs:

I haven't compared it to his last list, so don't ask me whats new!

Listened to Malgueña, Farruca, and Guajiras. Guajiras sounded like used staccato?
Always liked to go to this web site. When install larger hard drive will save some of these files.

Thanks,

Well it depends how the author scored them. Remeber, these are not actual recordings, they are simply Tabeledit scores, and automatically generated midi representations of those scores which will sound robotic and un-natural. If the author was not careful, or inacurate in their notation, the timing will sound wrong to.

It is very difficult to notate flamenco accurately anyhow. Often you have to simplify things.

I stumbled on Sal's site on Friday, during a Hotbot search. The video demonstrations there are excellent - I watched the video for triplet rasgueado and had one of those lightbulb moments (I've also been practising - and messing it up - it ever since)

Best,

A :-)
