The drawing looks nice, it's like an upgraded version of Winnetoe's kajak.
How big the sailes are going to be in m2?

Canoe? Looks more like a Viking ship. Paint a serpent on the side and a dragon on the sail and you'll be ready to raid local villages.

I dont think I will put a sail on it. The area is around 3,5m2
Viking ships were basically large clinker built canoes

That's what I thought too. Really looks great!

Although I would argue that its tone may not be as good as an all-solid wood canoe.

That is so sweet, well done. I always wanted one for the embalsa in Restabal but the water was evaporating more every year and the rocks started to show through.

p.s. a name in white lettering would look good - "el guitarrero" or "fandango" maybe

Yeah, it looks elegant and I really like the colour!
Great stuff Anders, you really pay attention to form and detail.

Ahem...

Is this just a forerunner to your next project?

It turned out well. That is a great looking canoe.

Where did you learn to do all this stuff? I can weld, paint and repair cars and do most types of construction work, but I don't do much work with wood.

Thanks for all the nice words.

Next will be sails. I´m from an island. I raced in optimist dinghys as a kid and later I toured around in wooden yachts.
Some kind of dinghy it´ll be. But it´ll take me a loooong time to build it. It´ll be clinker build
