A stupid question from me 

hi folks, im just asking for confirmation and certainty.

i have been doing well with the graf-martiniz counting method (bulerias 12-1-2 3-4-5 6-7 8-9 10-11) yet i have a few mehtods m.cordoba la guittara and martinez ,j book 1 bulerias patterns .
as martinez counts 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12,,,,,,,, when working throught the transcriptions, how do i change the beat and accent to get the flow......im a little puzzled on it....... also i have many transcriptions not sure how to cut and paste the falsetas from them........i have a few (tradional notation scores(japanese editions) and find it hard to know where the falsetas start , i dont want to be out of compas............... i want change it all to the martiniz way i like it , its easier to feel

I think you are asking how you put things together if one method starts counting on '12' and the other method starts counting on '1' - Is that correct?

It's the same thing. The same cycle of 12 beats so if you know where (lets say) 3 is, then that fits both methods.

The thing is to feel the pulse and try to play inside it. The numbers are a bit artificial and only helpful as a teaching guide.

If you use numbers to learn, some teachers start on '12' because this is the nearest compas beat to start the cycle from. If you start on '1' you have actually started thinking about the compas on a non entity beat (a space) and that is very difficult to do. Some players might start playing a falseta on '1' but normally they signal beat '12' by using a golpe tap to kick things off.

Hard to explain but might also be that I don't properly understand your question.
