So I'm having trouble notating this bit and getting the bars complete.

The first bar is fine, but the second and third have those hammer ons with the small 16th notes which I can only get to sound nearly right if I put them as triplets but theres no triplet symbol there on the original.

Any ideas??

Its not life or death but I'm just fussy and wanna have it all right.

Try two 32nd notes and an 8th. To end the way they do, those are not "triplets" rhythmically speaking. You would need one more note to make a triplet 16th group that ends on an 8th. Hope you understand.

my advice is get sibelius. it has a very nice sounding playback that nearly sounds like a guitar. lol. should you so desire, I can perhaps arrange for a chance meeting of you and some of the more necessary materials for this acquisition? si si?

yeah, but thers a lag time i don't enjoy. I really like sibelius because it's way more versatile. in some cases it has limitations, like tunings and really super guitar focused stuff... and you can't put wah pedal expressions lol. but the synth engine it comes with is way better than using gp5 to trigger samples. lol unless you have killer samples. Which case, i'd export midi/notation to rampage and playback my own samples lol.

Maybe I will. But I'm assuming I will still face the same little issues.
Anyways, I solved it with ricardos tips. Thanks man!

What time lag? on gp5?
