Cante accompaniment

Does anyone have any recommendations for resources on improving cante accompaniment? I did a search on the foro and found Jason McGuire's extremely helpful post from 2007 but not much else.

Not much else…really? Well you have to do it first of all, that is how you learn it. We have the massive cante accompaniment thread and several about appreciated and studying the cante. Not to mention tons of informative arguements about how to do it. Start here:

Informative arguments is my new favorite phrase.

There have been many threads and valuable discussions over the years, but I tried searching the foro for 'Cante accompaniment' and for some reason not many came up.

For example discussion just in this past month:
Try here:

Or here, the last couple of pages (page 29-30) of the misspelled "CANTE Accompanyament Practice" thread.
Have a go at accompanying the Juan Talega solea letra uploaded this week and post a recording.

I have learnt a great deal on the foro from discussions and by practicing with isolated cante recordings. Getting valuable feedback and hearing others' takes on the foro. I am also fortunate to be able to work with real singers, which is the real test. However studying recordings of cante maestros/maestras, practicing with recordings and participating in discussion on the foro continues to be slowly making me better at accompanying a real singer.

Also, the recovered collection of practice tracks are linked-to from this post on page 24 of that thread:
