Cant connect using chrome

all of a sudden the Foro will not download using Chrome. If i change to firefox it eventually works bot takes ages. I get this message

Make sure Chrome's setting to 'always use secure connections' is OFF.

To do so, in Chrome go to Settings > Privacy and security > Security > scroll down to Advanced > turn off “Always use secure connections”.
