Hola Paco!

Beautiful guitars and I like the total freedom in choosing custom options including picking up the exact top to be used, though higher resolution images will need to be provided for that to be practical. However, what I find most interesting is the Flamenco guitar-making course! I will buy it even if never end up building a guitar.

My only problem is with O'Brien's web site where the course is being sold. The signup form is not secured so the password/email used could be intercepted. It's important not to reuse a password from another service. Tell Robert to have his site secured using a free certificate from Let's Encrypt.

Un abrazo,
El Babilonio

Thanks you Babilonio for the idea about the high resolution images and the security advice. I will tell Robert, for sure.

Tom, thanks for your kind words. I am pretty sure I will learn a ton in this forum.

My best regards from Spain!

You are very welcome. My experience on this forum is that aficionados respond to free information more than being compelled to buy it. I know O'Brian does a good job of video show and tell for guitar building but we are exposed to so much free stuff on the Internet and You-Tube that many of us don't see the value in having to buy an instructional video.

Anders had a professional video done for him and later on he had to give a free presentation, perhaps for lack of buying interest, I don't know, but the essence of flamenco is, always, how do we get something for nothing:-)

I would liked to be proved wrong with this present scenario.

I approach this forum with free information on my building practice, and if people want a more in-depth class, then my doors are open to specialized training.

There are myriad courses on guitar building so I give the people what is not available, like a fine tuning class........but I wish you well on guitar information exchange, as it is the bread of life for those who need a helping hand up to a higher level of building quality.

It is definitely a way to advertise your skills and present guitars for sale.

Thanks again Tom for your words.

Anders is Anders Eliasson I guess?? I am a big fan of him and love every single aspect of his guitars and philosophy. I bought his original DVD long time ago and really love to watch it very often. Worth every penny. Would love to meet him in person some day.

Thanks and best regards!

Anders is greatly missed since he left this forum awhile back. I hope he comes back to share his ideas with us.

And to your building practice, I hope you will share your ongoing process of guitar building with us. There are so many ideas that are presented here that it would take quite a bit of time to browse through it.

All ideas are very important to make a file of information to serve this art. And in doing this we help each other to raise to a higher level of potential market share.
