Easiest Flamenco pieces that sound b...

I though I would put a spin on the "easiest PDL pieces" thread.

After spending weeks and months on one PDL piece - maybe it's nice to learn an easier piece that still sound really good.

As I think about this - I realize almost ALL of the great sounding pieces are full of some flash that is really hard to play.

So broadening the original question - which pieces have you learned where you said "Wow, great bang for the buck - learned a whole piece in less than a week", and it's even pretty easy to remember and sounds great.

I show many students some Sabicas in A minor that is fun, so long as you go normal bulerias tempo and not HIS tempo.

All the thumb-heavy stuff. It's amazing what you can do with just pim. Throw in ligados and p upstrokes and you can get some really fast and flashy phrases with minimal right-hand technique.

Even the easiest pieces can sound bad.
A lesson in humility.
