quote:
ORIGINAL: Ricardo 1.rasgueado 2. Arpegio 3. Pulgar 4. All the rest. What I thought was arpeggio or alzapua would top the list. I haven't expected rasgueado there. But who am I to judge. That's why I'll leave it to those who have been in flamenco for many years. quote:
Rasgueado, Pulgar, Golpe, Alzapúa, Arpegio, Picado, Trémolo Is it a ranking or did you name them randomly? quote:
Fretting the strings with the left hand. As for the left hand, that's the thing one has to consider. Indeed, left hand fingers are active all the time. Left arm flexor muscles must be strong for that. In rasgueado, the opposite is true. I watched on youtube Pepe Romero saying that rasgueado is the technique that uses the extensor muscles extensively. Edit: In alzapua, thumb upstrokes use extensor muscles as well.
