Sounds to me more like 34yo gold digger frustrated that his 62 yo husband is not going to leave her with billions of yens by selling those instruments, and simply die asap.

Yes, and unfortunately had the poor guy done something about it, and the police arrived
likely he would have been the one with the handcuffs on for domestic battery.
