manuel Cano Bk

hi all,

Not that i can play any thing from it,but i purchased Claude worms method book volume2, it has 2 cds, greatnotes and a few pics and what seems very accurate and clear transcriptions

manuel is partial to drop D tuning (maybe he liked sound Garden )

i.e a bulerias and sgriguiyas using drop D- some of the transcription of from him playing life he really has the sound i dig which isnt so modern but very nino ricardo aire

some of the pieces also have an almost classical composition approach

50 euro well spent

it maybe revamped seems pretty new book, nice pieces and great to hear live recordings-with a really great sound of the guitar

it says in the book manuel has the distinction of being the only musicologist-guitarist in the history of flamenco.

also-

nino ricardo gave him a Domingo Esteo guitar and considering him too be a virtuoso
