Rasgueado practicer por buleria remate

I always felt my 4 finger rasgueado was not my strongest point so i've been working on it lately.. I think it's sounding better..

It sounds so good. I don't know if you are practicing the 4 fingers rasgueado, or the 'bulerias remate' or both...

IMO [7 8 9 10] I would use 3 fingers rasgueado instead of 4 finger rasgueado....But I imagine you're practicing 4 fingers rasgueado...

Greetings!
Nito

Ok, you obviously have a very high level of techniqie and is a very strong player, something that you have been for years, so I will allow myself to be a little bit critical. Just a little bit. I have a feeling that its what you ask for.
The feel and sound is a little bit "above" the strings. Very light and "correct". If you listen to the great jerez rasgueado players like Cepero and especially Parilla , it sounds like they are playing through the strings which gives this very earthy `tierra`sound.
Some of the bulerias intros that Parilla did when playing with Paquera de Jerez. Long continuous rasgueados that really build up strength.

I would swear that Parrilla uses 3 fingers rasgueo...

P(up) a(down) i(down)

1:00 min

IMO P(up) a(down) i(down) and Moraito's rasgueado is the best options for buleria remate.

:-)

Yes, thats abanico remate. Most probably P up m down p down which is what is done the most in Jerez.

I was thinking about his rasgueado intros (not only remate) which builds up a lot of power in the fingers and eventually gives this sound of playing through the strings and not above them.

I am hearing a weird rhythm there, like triplet, two notes, triplet 10....across 7-8-9-10. Not sure if that is what you intend, I can mimic it with ami,i up i down, ami, i up. Is that what you did? Why not just try i up to start and do 7-10 like: iami-iami-iami-i as even 4's.

Thanks Nito... Actually I'm doing triplets like Ricardo was saying...

@Anders" You could be right.. Maybe a little more cojones to it and I'll be set... . Thanks for the critique...

@Ricardo: The way you are describing it to me it sounds like a tanguillo..(which I show in the video a bit) You are almost correct in your assessment. The only thing is that you left out the i up stroke... But once in awhile I'll do the 4's... Here is another video showing it a bit slower.. Also I'm doing abanico, starting with PAI, PMI and P MA P.
