Thumb technique

I have been working on tangos and I was watching an old youtube video by Anders and thought it was time i learn this thumb technique used near the end of the video @ 2:41. I don't understand the mechanics, maybe someone can make a slowly played video explaining

here you have my best shot. I havent played that falseta or basically anything else on the guitar for +4 years and memory....... But here we go.

There are easier alzapua falsetas out there, maybe find one on youtube and work your way up to this one. Alzapua is a pretty basic and common technique so it's likely time you get started on it.
Now, go forth and thumb!

Yes, you´re right. Everything is relative and personal, but compared to most top-player alzapua, this is not a difficult one. (ever listened to Gerardo Nuñez ¿?)
