Raging rasgueado

I was wondering if it's possible to get a fast and furious rasgueado like Vicente Amigo if you have small hands? Ok thanks.....

That thing looks like a helicopter but I can't imagine why not.

His fingers are long but also skinny (less mass?) so in the end that might all even up for mostly everybody.

The correct motion and balance for YOUR hands/body is always what matters. You can find all sorts of hands doing anything, they just need to adapt instead of copying someonelse's hand gestures.

It's more about the sound system and dynamics. If you have a hot mic and play soft, then any loud strum is gonna really explode....especially the Marote which is what that technique is basically. The timing is important. He likes to do it as 8 note per beat rather than two triplets. The extra speed allows a notch of extra volume. By the nature of the technique it will be relatively loud to other things you do.

Thanks for that Ricardo. So i guess if you have a decent mic setup then it will certainly help. It makes sense...

Thanks Rui Martins...
