Flamenco workshops

Flamenco Dance: Saturday 9 May: 14:00 - 15:30

In this workshop discover the power and passion of Flamenco dance, fantastic for improving stamina, strength and confidence.
Explore flamenco techniques ending with a short choreographed dance. No experience necessary.
Students must bring shoes or boots with a solid heel of no more than 5.5cm. No strappy sandals, trainers or stilettos.
Suitable for adults & young people 13+
Cost: £15 workshop only or £26 workshop and show

Flamenco Rhythm: Saturday 9 May: 14:00 - 15:30
An essential part of Flamenco music is the rhythm created by the dancer's finger clicking (palillos), the musician's hand clapping (palmas) or the percussive box (cajon). Learn the basic elements of rhythms that are commonly used and how to develop counter rhythms.
No experience necessary.
Suitable for adults and young people 13+
Cost: £10 workshop only or £21 workshop and show
