Guitar event in Córdoba

Interesting guitar congress in Córdoba in a few weeks...if anyone is in the vecinity, registration
and all the activities are free except three recitals, Tomatito, Diego del Morao and others.

So is this the same Córdoba Festival that the ayuntamiento took over from Paco Peña? They’ve shifted the dates?

Good for them: it used to be brutal.

It's not the Córdoba guitar festival that comes around July each year and includes all types of guitar music, but a new event devoted to flamenco guitar.

Full circle, then: Paco’s first Festival in 1981 was Flamenco only.

I'm looking forward to meeting him at the Congreso...the day Paco died we exchanged several emotional messages, crying on each other's shoulders. Such a terribly sad day...
