Altamira vs Navarro (or others)

Hi Everyone!

I am a classical guitarist dipping into flamenco and am looking for a decent instrument. I've owned a Francisco Navarro classical in the past and liked it but I've also been recommended Altamira's flamenco guitars. I like to buy used since I can get the higher quality guitar for cheaper and I don't mind a beat-up instrument as long as there are no series issues with it.

Any thoughts on Altamira's n300 or n600 model? Or Marlon or Francisco's student model flamencos? How would they compare?

I hoping to get something used for around $1,000 or less, but might be swayed for something higher if an instrument is spoken very highly of!

Thank you in advance!!

Joe

Navarro

There is a lot of info in the foro about Navarro flamenco guitars. They are very good; even the student models. I haven’t seen Altamiras flamenco.
