Solea compilation

Hello I was wondering if anyone could suggest some cd's for me. I'm having flamenco guitar lessons and my tutor is teaching me Solea. I have some solea but on different cd's. I would appreciate it if you could recomend a compilation cd of solea...thanks in advance

I always used to make them myself. In my days i still had to use records and tape..... nowadays you can store cd's in your computer, label each piece whatever you like and then use the surge option "soleares" to select the material you labeled as such.

As Eric suggested you could make your own compilation.

If you are a beginner? It would be best to ask your teacher to point you in the direction of good examples. You could also download one of the free programs that extracts the audio from you tube videos and converts it to mp3. For mac i use one called "youtube to mp3"

You will have a huge playlist in no time. Here is one to get you started. Cepero is great with solea.

He most certainly is :-).

For solo guitar i used to study Paco Peña a lot, especially his records of the 70ties and early 80ties. They cover all styles with incredible skill and taste. Most of them only survived on LP format (only a small selection is available on cd) but you can buy those records on eBay quite easily. He recorded over 5 soleares. Like mentioned you can find many recordings on youtube as well like this audio record that is part of a cd that came with written scores.

There is alot of solea in spotify, other choice is youtube as mentioned already as there are many live performances and by viewing live there's more to learn.

Thank you all . This morning I had limited Solea tracks , this evening Via "utube to mp3" I have a couple of cd's worth. Also went to Amazon and purchased "por solea " thanks manicfingers .
