Francisco Navarro Reyes

Hi,

Has anyone purchased a Navarro Reyes special concert model recently? PM if you prefer with any info. Any other recommendations would be great and appreciated in the 2K or under range. I am happy to get a used flamenco too if I can save a bit.

I would start with the classifieds on this site. There are some good guitars being sold for some pretty low prices.

As for the Navarro Reyes, I only have played one, and it wasn't quite what I hoped it would be. I was considering getting one myself some time back. The one I played didn't match my Castillo, so I didn't see any reason to order one and risk not being happy. His distributer will let you return a guitar if your not happy, or at least that was his policy last I heard. Also the last quote I heard for the Navarro Reyes was $2500, although they may shave a little off of that. You could try ordering from Francisco directly and that would save you some money I'm sure...

If you are looking at spending $2000 you have some good options. Something from Andy would be a good option, also some great used guitars, something from Benito Huipe may be nice... Also I have heard that a Castillo Blanca, (not mine) may be for sale soon. That would be right in your price range and would be a great guitar for someone.

I'm not trying to put Navarro or his guitars down. He makes great products... I'm just running my mouth and putting a few options out there. If your like me, looking is almost as fun as buying.
