cool! so you basically got a new laptop for free?

my laptop is becoming ancient (2005.) it's crazy what they have for laptops nowadays.

Think it will be offset by any cost increase in your policy? In the US a call to your ins co about a potential claim can lead to a higher rate for your policy...

On a slightly larger scale, we went to Cuba over the New Year and I had a call from my 80 year old neighbour to tell me that water was pouring through the ceilings of our house. £25000 worth of damage - yes we get nice new floors and ceilings but 2 months of hell as well and probably increased premiums. I suppose it might just balance out.
