Tuning Key Problem

I accidently hit my guitar and the D string tuning key is slightly bent inwards. I can still tune the D string but I can tell the key is haveing a hard time. I do not want to bend it back, I am affraid to do more damage to the other parts. I belive that the brand is "Shaellan" (sp) are individual key's available for sale or do I have to replace all the mechanism. Is this work that can be done by a guy with a screw driver or do I need to get and expert to work on it.

Look forward to all of your input.
Thanks,
RTC

well, get a mallet and whack it back. that's what i'd do.

Use this as a time to experiment, since you may have to buy new tuners anyway, you might as well give it a go.

alternately you could try to bend it back with pliers.

I would try pliers on the shaft only, not on the button. If it breaks then buy a new set if they are shallers
