saddle buzz

Hi there guys, I'm not sure whether this buzz was there before..
I use to play my 171sf quite gently before, and in the recent weeks, after my teacher told me about it, I'm playing it more correctly, with more sound coming out, but tonight, I notice a saddle buzz especially on the A and G string. it goes away if I hold the sides of the saddle.

I'm not sure whether this buzz is related to the lowering of the nut that was done on the 171sf last week. Would lowering the nut cause the string to buzz at the saddle?
I don't have the original saddle with me. it's in the case with my Anders, and it's at the shop getting a buzz sorted out.

any pointers?

hmmm... it might just be your strings. try taking them off, reversing them and putting them on again.

or maybe the saddle is too loose.

speaking of saddles, i have to replace mine too.

what happened with the anders?

Thanx for the reply! The Anders has a really strong buzz on the low E string even when being played gentle. So I opted to get it fixed.
The guys at the store said they'll pack some bone dust in the nut slot to fix it up.

Oh and to whoever is thinking of getting your 171sf's nut taken down.. DO IT!
It makes it so so much more playable!!
