amazing slow downer

hi lads and lasses?? tori spelling ??

sorry i mean how do i spell.

ah yes i was thinking about amazing slow downer a few people have mentioned its a cool utility may i ask how people use it and what for ??

is it a worthy investment ?? i.e making loops , and or transcribing , i havent really followed this path yet may help my stagnant playing

Its a great tool. It slows recordings without changing the pitch. Reads CDs,mp3s whatever and will output to a new file if you want. Easy to use loop points.

Definitely worth the $$

If your running Windows you could use a program called BestPractice which is open-source and allows for looping and slowing down tracks while keeping the pitch the same

There's also a free sound program called "audacity" which can do the same things. I've used it, but found it a bit complicated to figure out at first...
but it is free. ^_*

winamp has a bunch of these slow down/looping thingies available for free. dead easy to use too. a search of the winamp website should come up with a few - then its up to you to decide which ones u like...

Theres no looping, but windows media player can slow mp3s down
while keeping the original pitch.

i have transcribe which is cool, but i have heard a few others mention amazing slow downer like Jason M etc, and just made me think , maybe give it a try .

how does the quality of the sounds differ from using audacity, bestpractice and windows media player? I'm just using Windows Media Player now to slow things down. but somethings it sounds funny...
