dvds by O.Herrero cante baile 

has anyone used the solea and or alegrias methods, he has , or can any one recommend them for good preperation for the real thing ??

love to hear some reviews or feed back.

I think there is no baile on it. Just cante. Each track is played one time with and another time witohut guitar, so that you can take that part. For somebody who has nobody to play with it might be good, but if you already know some people, the material you have to play with them might be different from whats presented on the DVD. I didnt use it, but i think the DVD(s) is (are) overall a usefull resource.

i've never looked at them, but i know someone who's got them, so i'll try to ask....

i did go through the first 3 paso a paso (i think the solea and alegria are volumes 4-9 or something like that) a few years ago. They are focused on technique. i been meaning to post up here to ask what anyone else thinks of them (apart from the booklets are hand written, which i don't really care about)....

thabks guys , yeah you know the 1st 3 i also have , i like some stuff, i a ctually like his teaching method,
i other editions well.......im just after anything that can prepare me for the next step.....not just being a bedroom guitarist, im in Nepal, ican tell you the flamenco scene aint that big !!!

hehe but its all cool in kathmandu.

and ideas on getting accompanyment going , i mean in preparing for it, just one day im sure some one will ask me to play in compass not like a romantic version of the solea, shifting time signatures (meaning my timing is terrible).
