RIP Ronnie from the Dubliners

Many years ago Harold was lucky to work with the Dubliners when they collaborated with the Pogues on a wild and wonderful version of " The Wild Rover" beloved of Irish pubs throughout the world and it always gives me a kick when I hear it.

Sadly Ronnie the voice of the Dubliners has passed away. What I never knew was that he also played flamenco guitar.

Here's another obituary. Apparently Ronnie spent three years studying flamenco guitar in Spain.

Hi Kate,
I remember hearing a radio interview with him, many years ago in which he played some Flamenco Guitar.
I was amazed.
It certainly sounded very good.

cheers,

Ron
