Fiesta de la Buleria de Jerez

Has anybody been to the Fiesta de la Buleria de Jerez (fiesta de otoño) in the past couple of years?

We'll be there this year with a befriended couple, and I was wondering whether we'd be better off staying at a hotel outside of Jerez rather than in Jerez itself. I'm the only aficionado in our group, i. e. the only one who'd enjoy flamenco + noise 24/24h.

What do you guys think?

Is it still at the bullring? They were talking about moving it.

You could stay in town as the bullring is a little way out of the centre. You get your tickets from kiosks at the bullring the day before or on the day I think.

It is an experience that even your friends should enjoy; 1000s of people - lots of gitanos - all dressed up and stamping their feet in the bleachers. Starts around 8pm, goes on to about 4:00am.
