I have played a couple of this model. For $800 it is not bad at all. One student has one very nice, although he had to make a new bone to make the action just right. But certainly worth the price.

As with any guitar, you are safer if you can try the guitar first. Guitar Center sells this model. If you have one in your area, go see if they have one.

this guitar is being replaced by the cordoba solista. they renamed a lot of their models this year. i picked mine up at guitar center for half price, which was 729(no case included) at the time (last november). I was a little reluctant to get it at first because i hadnt ever played a flamenco guitar(i was using a cheap yamaha classical) and as a beginer who hadn't taken formal classes yet, i had no clue what to listen for. i just couldnt pass it up for the price, considering it had solid woods and all.

making that bone was a rewarding experience, and made a world of difference. Now i dont know if i can ever get rid of it when im ready for my concert guitar.
