Member intro for lmseldin

Members,

Here is my intro. I have played serious classical guitar up until my early 20s. I had planned to be a concert classical guitarist as a career. However, for me, I never made enough money, so I went to University and forgot about guitar for many, many years. About 1.5 years ago, I was at a party and a friend was playing guitar. I joined in on a 2nd guitar, and the fire was lit. I first played popular music and quickly gravitated towards my 1st love of classical guitar. I have been playing ever since.

Actually, I now have more fun on guitar than I ever did, because I don't play for a career and play for fun. My repertoire is chosen, by playing some past pieces and pieces that I hear. So if I like a piece I hear, I then go and play it.

My real advantage, is that it seems that my fingers remember technique and I have vastly approved over the past 1.5 years. I love guitar again and it is so much fun.

I have always enjoyed Flamenco guitar but never played it. I learned El Toro Malaguena and it was so much fun.

Does anyone have a favorite list of top popular flamenco guitar pieces that has a good tab? (I am not looking for beginner practice pieces).

Thanks,

Larry

Flamenco guitar pieces are a small part of the genre. You’re probably looking for songs like Impetu.

Pgh,

Thank you for response. I was hoping for more feedback on a top list of guitar pieces, so I can create a backlog...

I will post my query in a different forum to see for more feedback.
