Posting music of Paco de Lucia, Sabi...

Hi to all!

I have recorded few compositions that I would like to put on Spotify. Considering the fact that is not my music, but the music of Maestros de la guitarra, do you have any experience with that considering the copyright issuses?

Best regards,
Mirza

Well what I learned in school is you need to get a mechanical liscense agreement for the country in question, and get someone at polygram Iberica or who ever published the recording you copied (next to (P) on the album jacket) to sign it and agree to the standard royalty rate for mechanicals....whatever the hell those are for streaming. Back in the day it was 9 cents per album produced, but I don’t know how streaming works. I get partial pennies for streams these days so I am sure it is not much. The hard part is getting Polygram or whoever to sign that thing. Sony music or Universal etc might be easier, but look up “mechanical rights agreement”.
