La Biblia del Flamenco (según Manol...

looks like we will soon get to see the often mentioned flamenco encyclopedia which Manolo Sanlucar advised he would organise and publish. Nearly 10 years in the making. it is said to comprise 10 -12 volumes concerning the flamenco guitar in relation to solo, song accompaniment and dance accompaniment.

one of the original articles discussing the project here.

I am sure there will be a number of people who will disagree with Manolo's theories, and it will be interesting to see how it will be received and what impact it will have on flamenco from an academic perspective.

Define "soon".

“la documentación existente hasta ahora es "superficial" y, en muchos casos, ha sido elaborada por extranjeros fascinados”.

Lads, we’ve been rumbled.

The very fact they're talking about DVD immediately worries me we're talking about vapourware. Hope I'm wrong.

Think that Maestro Manolo is going to look at flamenco through "his prism" but if your're talking the vanguard of flamenco, there is alot of ideas being integrated.

imho opinion, it will be interesting to see the results and what the didactic material will be like, and most important, how user friendly it will be.

Really beautiful presentation. However it looks more like a documentary that includes full length performances. Sort of like a modern day Rito y geografia, but including baile. What would have been amazing would have been a third duet with Paco.

Can anyone explain to me the difference between the Greek dorico and the hipomixolidio?
