Strings

Hi All,

Some time ago I bought a Camps Primera flamenco guitar. Due to moving house and countries etc, I never got to play it much. More recently I have been able to put more time into it.

I love the guitar and the strings sound really good. Does anyone know which strings are supplied with Camps guitars as I would like to get some before they wear out. If not, can anyone recommend quality strings?

I'm afraid I don't know what strings are put on Camps guitars but I mainly use Savarez Corum medium tension strings which I find to be very good and I believe more often than not Savarez strings are commonly supplied on newer flamenco guitars.

I bought a Primera Negra from Camps in 2015. If my memory serves me right, they use D’addario EJ25C strings. But I have been using La Bella 2001 Flamenco hard tension strings and very happy. Great flamenco sound. $7.25 per set at Strings by Mail.

No idea what Camps use. For me on my negra, Alice ac130h. Quarter the price of premium brands and sound as good, if not better too - at least on my guitar. YMMV.
