La Búsqueda — Where to buy

Looking to get the deluxe edition. English subtitles are important (does the standard edition have them?)

I’m looking at deflamenco.com, but does anyone know of somewhere I can get it in the USA and save money?

TIA.

Paul,

I assume you are referring to the DVD entitled "La Busqueda" chronicling the life of Paco de lucia. (Note: There are a couple of other Spanish language films entitled, "La Busqueda," including one that is an Argentine political thriller, but I don't think that's what you are looking for.)

I called "Flamenco Connection" here in the Washington, DC area (Tel. No. 703-352-5825) and asked about "La Busqueda," but, unfortunately, they do not have it. I asked the lady if she could direct me to a place that might have it, but she didn't know. The lady on the phone was aware of the DVD. You might call and see if they can find a source and order it for you. Don't know if that would work, but it never hurts to try.

The owner of Flamenco Connection is Guillermo Juan Christie. He is very helpful and accommodating, but he is often not in. If you can talk to Guillermo, he would probably be your best bet for helping you locate a copy of the DVD.

Bill

Unfortunately this is a Spain product (region 2 or all region player required), and I don't know where you can get in USA. Original standard version has English subtitles. To ship here it is E12.15, decent price, and these guys sent my zyrab book to DC with no hassle very fast:
