Que pasa chicos y chicas!

Hello flamenco lovers, this is my first post on the Foro and I'd like to say hello and thanks.

I became interested in flamenco this year while based in the UK when I borrowed a Martin classical guitar from the artist I was working for. It was just to fill in some time between tour legs but I really enjoyed it and bonded with with my brother in law (who is Spanish) learning to play rhumba flamenca.
I have a love for Espana, the Spanish people, their food and their music and have became very interested in guitar construction.
Building guitars myself is not something that I would wish to do but the alchemy/science/chaos that results in a handmade guitar is amazing and something that I love to learn about.

The Foro has been a terrific resource to me as I learn about all things flamenco so thanks to all of you who offer your knowledge and experience here.

The search for guitars has given me a couple of stories which I am sure I will share at some point and hopefully my experiences will help another person as they make their own discoveries.

I am based in Australia and work as a FOH mixer and tour/production manager so my life is pretty much based around music.

The feeling of a lightly-built guitar resonating in my arms has become a bit of an addiction and I aim to play with enough competence to accompany others.

I hope that I can continue to learn from you all and maybe vice-verse.

Chao
