Juanito Pascual Method

As I found on youtube Juanito Pascual made a method book "The total flamenco guitarist".

Here are two available examples:

Has anyone used it and can tell about the difference to other methods?

I have it and have done online lessons with juanito as well. Excellent player and good guy. The book is mostly meant for beginners to somewhat intermediate in the more advanced palo examples. It goes through the basic palos and fundamental techniques. The palo examples are very traditional.

Ok, that means all in all not so total as the title says. I like the traditional style. By time I´ll give it a try.

juanito has a tango in his book which is a full piece (about 2 minutes or so as played by juanito on the accompanying cd). in their respective introduction books, martin has a tientos but not a tango and koster only has a few bars of a tango. of the intro books i have seen and/or used way back in the day the tango is usually not included. martin has some in his advanced books though.

I'm sure the material is probably pretty good, and i'm sure he's a really nice
guy, but i dont think his playing and sound is a good model to shoot for.
Thin tone, and shaky rhythm.
