I think as you see the movement in the camera it is recorded with a hand held camera or the like so therefore the sound quality is only as good as the recorder and not the system or the guitar itself ...
Theres not much point in have a great player and a top notch Reyes played through the highest quality system in quadraphonic surround dolby HQ sound tech ...and then record the whole thing on my FujiCam that cost 50 bucks .....Unless your just messing about and having a quick vid ...then its OK ...

I'm surprised it sounds as good as it does--but that's VA for you. Amplified acoustic guitars usually sound awful IMO.

Not bad at all for a plug in set up. Just don't push it too hard or the weaknesses come out. Golpes probably sound marginal too but at least there will be hardly any feedbacks. Good enough for venues like cafe and small resto where no one is really paying attention. Hehe.

I don't get why anyone is shocked, nothing against VA but his albums are always hyper produced.

Considering the fact that those vids were shot with a simple iphone mic they sound really pretty good, especially the 2nd clip !

I don't even care about the pickup system here but Sierra del Agua! That's only footage I've ever seen of him playing it.

Here's something more interesting than guitar pickups...

Does anyone know what brand of shoes are those he's using? I've only known one person who had a pair like those, don't remember what they were.

Iam a sucker for white shoes, not so much for the stripes (4 stripes reminds me of adidas knockoffs )
