advice needed on second guitar new h...

Hi there

I have only been playing a year but the guitar I have is really annoying me as it doesnt keep in tune up the neck (very high action) - it was only a cheap learner

I hear good things about hermanos sanchis 2f for the money

but i also see some Ricardo Sanchis Carpio guitars secondhand from the 70's & 80's for comparable prices

what do you think?

Old instruments for sale often, sadly, suffer from humidity damage etc. So you must try before you commit to buying something old. It's a shame that guitar that might sound superior, may have the same issue you deal with now (high action not easily fixable). A new Sanchis lopez you can't go wrong with (in my experience), they hot-glue-gun those puppies together with perfection.

But any instrument hopefully you can try first, and comparing instruments is ideal.

I would also try out the 1F extra cypress model of the sanchis brothers if you have the chance (and can spend some more money). good guitars and much better than the 2F (imo).
