Hello from California

Hi, I'm an old English rock guitarist who has been swept away in my old age by this music that stirs my blood like I was a teenager again. I'm an old dog learning new tricks - thank you for this great forum!

Welcome! Are you an old Englishman who plays rock or someone who plays old English rock?
Can't stress the search function enough, it's been my best friend for extracting info.

RE: Hello from California (in reply to El Rascacielo

Was in band that were almost famous for 14.5 minutes - toured opening for loads of people I've spent the last 30 years watching become global pop icons. But my life is so amazing now that I wouldn't change a single thing that might have prevented me from having the life I currently have. I'll also never be much of a Flamenco guitarist but I LOVE trying. Diego Del Gastor's work is pretty much my obsession - was lucky enough a few years ago to take some lessons with Evan Harrah who spent 3 years in early 70s recording and studying Diego's playing.
