Paco's show last night in Ft. Worth, TX.

Awesome. Paco is still Paco. I don't know why the question "is he still flamenco?" would ever arise. Early on at the beginning stages of the show, he would "mess up" every now and then, if I may be so bold to say that, and he would acknowledge it by a slight shake of his head and a smirk, the other band mates would look at him and they would just give a silly smile. After he was totally warmed up, he kicked ass and took names.

It was a thrill to see and hear Duquende as it was my first time. I love this dude and wish he had more opportunities to sing.

Farruco blew me away. This guy is badass and he's still young. The crowd ate it up every time he did his thing. I don't get many opportunities to watch real flamenco that up and close. I have a deep appreciate for the baile now that I was able to see it up close.

Paco's nephew didn't do a whole lot. Most of the time I couldn't hear his guitar very well so I really don't know how good he is.

All in all it was a great show and I'll always go back to see Paco every time he comes to town.

Isn't he going to be in Austin tomorrow or something like that?

Yes I believe so. I wouldn't mind seeing him again.

Tom:

I agree with you, heck of a show. This was my first time to see him live and was blown away. Bass Performance Hall is a phenomenal place and Paco made this venue sound better than they ever thought possible. I am also proud to see the DFW Metroplex appreciate such a Spectacular Talent by filling every seat of the Hall.

I wish Paco continue success in his tour, with the next in Austin.

Buena Suerte!

I felt the same way when I saw him in Vancouver a while back. I agree on Farruco too. The seguirilla was the highlight of the night for me. I must say, I don't really care for Zyryab and Entre Dos Aguas though like Ricardo keeps pointing out, it should hardly be a surprise that they were included in the setlist. I would prefer more solea, solea por bulerias instead of tangos and rumbas but that's just me.
