oooo the flame on the neck is nice! Kinda like on my Huipe but more even-looking. I was under the impression this wood is a bit heavier than the non-flame/non-curly cedar; do u happen to know anything about that?

The first 3 pics appear broken.

Eric, She will be nice! Did Salvador tell you what number she will be? My newest is number 399, and he has been polishing her for the last 5 days. It won't be long now... This thread is making me want another blanca! Our guitars are sisters...

Wow! That's awsome! That Koa in the hands of the Maestro will surely make a monster guitar!!

So your workshop is the uterus and you the sperm. Cool! :D <---not supposed to be offensive. This either -->

Looks very interesting. I like those workshops ...they are so mysterious... how you luthiers can carve such precise, perfectly detailed guitars without any scratch in such a ****hole.. Oh wait yours looks pretty cleaned up.. Now its even more confusing to me!! Oo

Okay! since you are a good luthier and you work and think a lot about design, I have a question. I see a lot guitars and a lot photos here of rosettes, headstocks, tuners etc.. it seems that all desings goes like main stream into a lyrically ornamented style of design with many details. I wonder why I never see just a plain masculine guitar with a straight, minimalistic, manly design for cool young guys (till mid 30s)? I mean without all these ornaments... very cool and minimalistic. Like the great German steel-glass desighn of modern buildings.

Just a question of interest.

Sorry for all the spelling mistakes..my spellchecker doesnt work here.. :(

For me a guitar is a beautiful lady, not a macho guy. She is a she, so she has to be elegant and beautiful.
Some Luthier will happily build you a minimalist guitar which is very 'minimalist' , so far I know they are some estudio guitars just as you descibred.

I think a guitar like I would like to have does not exist. Well, thats a good answer anyway! =)

He and she seem to be assigned in diff languages to the same things very randomly..in many different languages things have opposite sex or even no sex at all.

For me guitars are neutral things... Well,...maybe its just me.

Me too. I don't give my guitars a sex. I don't really look at my guitars much either. I just pick them up and play. That's probably why my guitars get so many dings and scratches without me even realizing or caring.

Nice work! When do we hear it (her)? And what kind of tuners are those?
