Super Glue Creator Harry Coover Dies

I wonder if he knew that Flamenco guitarists used his invention on their finger nails. A news blurb mentioned that this glue was used to close soldiers' wounds in Vietnam--I recall some people wondered if it was toxic.

From what I know, Super Glue was originally invented for medical use. It was employed during the Vietnam was to stop the bleeding and close the woulds. I have no idea about the toxicity, although I suspect it's not a very nice & easy substance.
