You ever use a sock when practicing? 
Works on my dog too His claws on our wooden floors drives Ginna nuts.

Never... They disgust me.. even washed fresh socks of my own.. I think its something genetically very deep inside of me.. I panic when a sock touches anything else than my feet (And very fastly my fingertips when entering in the morning!)

The dog is cool.. hahaha... I once saw a suite for a dog that looked like a crocodile ate the dog... crazy.
