V.Amigo playing at home 

video in todays news, he is playing Roma as a guitar solo (what everyone wished to just hear without the flutes and etc,) then he does some cool stuff at the end

Although obvious, it is interesting to read the introduction in the article where they call it a disconcerting album... and has 'misplaced' his followers. But that is just the intro, not a discussion with him.

Man i love how melodic his early compositions were, this has more of a kinda basic arpeggio study vibe, I don't really get it?, can't really understand what he's going for unless its 'world music top 40"

I think you may have mis-interpreted that intro .. it's more like in the manner of speech of the columnist ...meaning a 'bewildering' new album , (due to its unusual content ...) and some of his followers may not be comfortable with this ( change)

Its an odd video.
Its supposed to have an intimate, casual vibe, but with all the guitar switching and many camera shots, it just smells like too much production.
