speaking of luthier strings...

...i stopped by luthier music corp this weekend and happened to have my gear with me so took some pics of their inventory:

they always have a ton of condes in stock, sanchis caprios, sanchis lopez's, kenny hills, aparicios, alhambras, etc. the gem this visit was the sanchis caprio acre, the spruce and maple model which was amazing.

i know some people have a problem with luthier music and the prices they charge which honestly, were a lot. but i've always enjoyed dropping in, playing a few guitars and chatting with tony. it's rare to have a retail space with such high end flamencos gathered together in one space to test drive.

and talking business with tony, sales for him are okay even with the strong euro but as always, it is the popularity of his strings worldwide that has remained strong even during the current downturn.
