Wittner Tuning Pegs?

Hi folks,

I'm thinking of ordering a set of Wittner geared pegs:
Has anyone used these? If so, what's your feedback?

There's also PegHed which has to come from US. How about those?

Thanks,
A

I can only tell about pegHed on an Anders Eliasson Negra from 2013. Still works perfect..

Also, Anders is a guy who is not easaly satisfied ( if I may say without permission), i am sure he investigate his stuff, so, if you did not do yourself, I would go for pegHed.

Thanks a lot for your advice.
In fact it's one Anders' guitars that I'm looking into changing the pegs. I haven't completely decided yet; just mulling over the idea.
Did Anders fit yours himself or you changed to PegHed afterwards?

Thanks again,
A

haven't tried the wittners, but they seem to get really good reviews. also [he who cannot be mentioned] puts them on a lot of his guitars. I also have pegheds on my guitar and they are perfect. one downside is that the string holes have sharp edges and tend to damage the string if you're not careful. consider also the customs tax which can be quite expensive.

Thanks for your input chaps.
I've lubricated the original pegs and they're working well enough now.
I think I've now shelved the idea of changing to geared pegs.

Thanks again,
A
